Flourish is a personal self-tracking app for habits, time, finance, and nature. This policy explains what data the app collects, where it goes, and what stays entirely on your device.
All log entries (activities, durations, notes, finance records, nature scores) are stored locally on your device using browser storage (localStorage). If you do not sign in, they are never sent to our servers and we have no access to them.
Cloud sync is optional and off until you choose to sign in. If you sign in with Google, a copy of your log entries is stored in Flourish's cloud database (Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore), in a private area tied to your Google account ID. Firestore security rules restrict that area to your own signed-in account. Google processes this data as our infrastructure provider under Google's Privacy Policy. Flourish does not read, sell, or share your entries, and does not use them for any purpose other than syncing them back to your own devices.
Sign-in is handled by Google and Firebase Authentication. We receive and store your Google account identifier, email address, and display name, solely to identify your sync data and to contact you about your account. We do not share this with third parties.
Pro access payments are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI, and bank details are handled entirely by Razorpay and are never seen or stored by us — see Razorpay's Privacy Policy. When a payment completes, we receive a notification containing the email address you entered at checkout and the Razorpay payment reference, which we use to activate your Pro access and to provide support.
Voice logging uses your device's microphone only while you are actively recording. Audio is processed on-device by your browser's built-in Web Speech API and is not sent to our servers. We do not record or store audio.
Daily reminder notifications are scheduled entirely on your device using a browser timer and the Notification API. No push server is involved. Enabling notifications does not transmit any data.
If you submit feedback through the in-app form, your message and the email address you provide are forwarded to our inbox via Web3Forms. We use this only to reply to your feedback. We do not share it with third parties or add you to any mailing list.
Flourish has no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind.
Flourish is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
